We are excited and looking forward to another great event in Gulfport, MS. Since you are receiving this email, we ask that you do two (2) things to make your trip more enjoyable:

1. Bookmark the official website of the USSSA Gulfport Global World Series
2. Download the USSSA App – links to iTunes and GooglePlay at the bottom of this email as all communication will come via app pushes during the event.

Below we have comprised a list of the most frequently asked questions.

Gate Fees

Save Time – Purchase Your Weekly Pass NOW!

Gate fees will apply to everyone ages 14 years and older. There will be 2 choices available; week-long or daily.

• Week-long tournament pass – $60 each. Can be purchased ONLINE PRIOR to the event
  • Deadline to purchase week-long passes will be June 17th, 10:00 pm (CST).
  • Week-long passes will be readily available for pick-up on June 18th at skills comps/opening ceremony or on June 4th ONLY at Gulfport Sportsplex.
• Week-long passes can also be purchased in person on June 17th, during the skills competitions
• Daily passes can ONLY be purchased the day of for $20 per day, CASH only. I.E. If you want to purchase a Thursday ticket, you can only purchase it on Thursday.
• Teams will receive three (3) coaches passes at check-in

Skills Competitions

Everyone can participate in the skills competition, but sign up EARLY as it will SELL OUT!

Opening Ceremony

Be sure not to miss the PARADE OF TEAMS on June 17th, at MGM Stadium (home of the Shuckers). 

Here is what is in store:

• Parade of teams on the field – in order to participate in the parade teams (including players and coaches) must purchase tickets through the tournament host.)
• Shuckers vs. Tennessee Smokies (6:35PM)
• Pin Trading

Schedules

We are tentatively looking to release the schedule for all teams on June 5th. Once the schedule is released we will send out notification to all teams via email and the USSSA App. Here is what to expect when the schedule is released: Every team should be prepared to play at least one (1) game per day All teams will play a minimum of 5 games, mixed pool play. We will try and separate into classes for brackets where we can WE DO NOT TAKE TIME REQUESTS AT WORLD SERIES EVENTS Pool play will start Thursday, June 19th at 8:00AM All teams will play 3 pool play games Bracket will start on Saturday, June 21st at 8:00AM. Brackets will be a modified double elimination (Global Format) Do I need baseballs? No, baseballs are included. Do I pay umpires? No, umpires are included USSSA Mobile App Do you have the USSSA Mobile App?
